An OEM interactive flat panel sample checklist helps distributors decide whether a proposed model is ready for their customers. A sample that turns on successfully is only the starting point. Test the tasks your buyers perform, record the exact configuration and agree how an approved sample will relate to the production order.
This guide is a practical acceptance worksheet for importers, education suppliers, system integrators and brand owners. Acceptance limits, sample charges and production terms must be agreed for each project.

1. Define the sample before testing
Create a one-page configuration record: model, screen size, processor, RAM, storage, Android version, firmware version, touch system, included accessories and any optional Windows computer. Save photographs of the unit label and the system-information screen. If two samples use different hardware or firmware, record them separately rather than combining their results.
Choose the model around the intended customer. A school may need reliable lesson annotation and teacher sign-out. A meeting room may require laptop presentation, touch return and compatibility with a specific conferencing platform. Compare the OKView interactive flat panel range before requesting a sample.
2. Test writing with a repeatable worksheet
- Draw slow diagonal lines, circles and small letters at the centre and near each edge.
- Check the supplied pen, finger input, erasing and switching between writing tools.
- Ask multiple users to write at once in the actual whiteboard application.
- Save, reopen and export a lesson or meeting note. Check the exported file on a separate computer.
Record the application, input method and operating system for every result. A quoted touch-point count does not by itself establish how many simultaneous users a particular application supports. Use short videos to document repeatable faults and retest after any firmware change.
3. Check the complete presentation workflow
Bring representative Windows laptops, other source devices and the cables your customers intend to use. Check video, sound and touch return together. Test wireless sharing on the intended network, including reconnecting after sleep. For USB-C, confirm the required video, data and charging functions individually; a connector label alone is not a complete specification.
If you need Google applications, ask for the exact model’s EDLA configuration and supported software. For an optional Windows OPS computer, confirm compatibility, processor, memory, storage and licence scope. Do not assume that either option is included in the base panel price.
4. Approve branding and user handover
Review the logo position, boot screen, interface language, packaging artwork and accessory labels against approved files. Test restart and factory reset so you understand which settings persist. Confirm the process for removing demonstration accounts and handing the unit to a new customer.
Record requested OEM changes as separate lines: required, approved, pending or out of scope. Our interactive display OEM and ODM page explains the types of customisation to discuss.
5. Use a clear acceptance record
| Item | Evidence to retain | Decision |
|---|---|---|
| Writing and export | Test file and short recording | Pass / retest / open issue |
| Laptop and wireless sharing | Device, cable and network details | Pass / retest / open issue |
| Branding and configuration | Approved artwork and configuration sheet | Approved / revision required |
| Packaging and accessories | Packing list and package photographs | Complete / discrepancy |
Before ordering, agree how production changes will be communicated, what inspection records will be supplied and how faults will be reported. Define warranty responsibilities, spare-part arrangements and any local service work in writing. Sample approval is not a substitute for an agreed production inspection plan.
Frequently asked questions
What is the minimum order for OEM interactive flat panels?
Ask for a project-specific MOQ. Logo printing, packaging, firmware changes and housing development can have different minimum quantities and charges. Provide both the trial order and expected repeat-order quantity.
Can one approved sample cover several screen sizes?
Do not assume so. Confirm which components and software are shared, and identify size-specific mounting, packaging or performance checks before approving the range.
Request an OEM sample plan
Send OKView your destination country, customer type, preferred screen sizes, sample quantity, expected order quantity, required applications and branding scope. Include the acceptance checklist you want to use. Request an OEM sample configuration and quotation with hardware, customisation and delivery listed separately.
